Not knowing what to expect is one of the things that makes seeking help harder than it needs to be. This page walks you through exactly what happens when you reach out to CART, whether you are an individual, a family, or an institution.
You contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email. Tell us briefly what you are concerned about. There is no obligation and no commitment at this stage.
We respond within one business day.
We have a 30 to 45 minute conversation, in person or by phone. We listen to what you are noticing, ask a few questions to understand the situation better, and tell you honestly what we think would help and why.
You leave this conversation with a clear sense of what the next step is, and whether it is right for you.
If an assessment is recommended, we book one or two sessions for the evaluation. If counselling is recommended, we begin with a first session. We explain what will happen in each session before it starts.
For assessments: bring any previous reports, school records, or medical information that might be helpful.
We sit with you and explain the results in plain language. We do not read from a report. We have a conversation about what the findings mean, what they suggest, and what your options are.
A written report is provided, clearly worded and practically useful.
We agree on next steps together. This might be ongoing counselling, remediation, a referral, school recommendations, or simply a plan you take away and act on. Nothing is started without your understanding and agreement.
You are never pushed toward a service you do not need.
A consultation does not commit you to anything. You decide whether to proceed, and at what pace.
We explain what we find in plain, honest language. Reports are written to be read and understood, not filed away.
Everything shared with CART stays with CART, unless you choose otherwise or a safety concern requires it.
Day 1
Contact us with a brief description of your school, college, or organisation and what you are looking for. We respond within one business day.
Within two weeks
We meet to understand your context, your student or employee population, your existing support systems, and your specific needs. This is a listening meeting, not a sales presentation.
Within one week of the meeting
We provide a written proposal covering services, schedule, staffing, confidentiality structure, reporting, and costs. Everything is clear and itemised.
By agreed date
We set up the programme, brief relevant staff, and begin service delivery. For in-school resource centres, we handle the practical setup.
Throughout
Regular service delivery, aggregate reporting to leadership, and periodic reviews to ensure the programme is working as intended.
You can call, WhatsApp, or fill in the contact form. We will get back to you within one business day and take it from there.
